ABOUT THE AUTHOR
David Alan is an author of humor and children's books. He has an active imagination, is very creative and artistic, and is a big fan of everyone of all ages is having the most fun and living their best lives! This is his second book, with a third, fourth and fifth on the way, and there are tons of more ideas just waiting to be put on paper.
David lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, in his very first home with his husband and their two fur babies, Natalia and Angela Basset Hound. He is also proud Papa David/babysitter/teacher to budding genius, 2 year-old Maci, quite possibly the most perfect little person to ever walk the earth. He also enjoys arts and crafts, watching too much TV, trivia, and making up silly songs to sing to Natalia, Angela and Maci. Some they like, some not so much. That's why he's an author, not a singer.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Hope Lynn Ryu (Mi Rhe Ryu) started drawing at the tender age of two and her passion for all things “artsy” has grown exponentially over the last 3 years. She started creating digital art just over 2 years ago, specializing in drawing the human form and the use of tertiary color palettes. Hope draws her inspiration from the books she reads, travel experiences, other artists, as well as her family and friends. Her art pays exceptional attention to detail in both inanimate objects and human facial expressions.
In 2019, Hope placed fourth in a New-Zealand wide character design competition called ‘Light and Dark’ as one of the youngest competitors.
Aside from art, Hope is an avid reader and budding poet. She enjoys comedy, dark chocolate, durian, funky socks, traveling, and getting good grades at school.
